Through the TV… Again!
2018
‘Through the TV… Again!’ is a Stage-Play created by 20 children in their 6th year of Primary School.
Daisy, Jimmy and Timmy are at home with their Mum and their Uncle and they want to have some fun! When their cousins Luke, Jessica and Nancy come over to play, things get out of hand and they accidentally break the TV. Trying to fix it, something strange happens and they are transported through the television to 3 different TV shows: Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, a Travel programme, and the popular Spanish classic, Los Payasos de la Tele. To make things worse, they travel in pairs but their partner is definitely not their favourite cousin. Despite their disagreements and disappointments, each pair of children must work together if they are to solve the many challenges that await them inside their favourite TV shows…
An original Stage-Play exploring comedy and science-fiction, ‘Through the TV… Again!’ was written over the course of the 2017/18 academic year by a class of 20 non-native English students aged 11-12. It included songs, dances and moral messages related to friendship, teamwork and accepting that we are all different and unique.
