‘Hotel Cacoca’ is a Short-Film created by 2 children in their 4th and 6th year of Primary School.
Whilst looking up hotels on his computer at home, Charles receives a strange phone call from the receptionist at Hotel Cacoca. He is offered 1,000,001€ to stay for 3 nights at the hotel. Intrigued, Charles agrees to the proposal and heads towards the countryside hotel to begin his short stay. Meanwhile, a McDonald’s employee and failed comedian (Ronald) is fired from his job and seeks refuge at Hotel Cacoca from a terrible rainstorm. But things are not as they seem at the eerie Hotel Cacoca. There are strange noises in the night, a cold wind blowing, and a mystery that Charles and Ronald must try to uncover if they are to survive their stay…
An original Film inspired by creepy motels and scary stories in the countryside, ‘Hotel Cacoca’ was written over the course of the 2025/26 academic year by 2 non-native English San Patricio (Moraleja) students aged 9-11. It included elements of comedy, mystery and suspense, whilst exploring moral messages related to trust and the value of money.
