The Curious Case of the Crown Jewels

‘The Curious Case of the Crown Jewels’ is a Stage-Play created by 22 children in their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th year of Primary School.

When the Queen of the Animals gives her annual speech for the Crown Jewels Celebration, the prized Crown Jewels (which hold the magic to the kingdom) suddenly disappear! Desperate to discover what has happened, the Cat Police must work together with the other animals to return the Crown Jewels to the Queen and the Palace. On their adventure they encounter Elves, Foxes, a Dragon, a Stone-Turner, a Witch and many more fantasy characters that occupy the land. But who is responsible for their disappearance? The Cat Police must recover the Crown Jewels, return them to the Queen of the Animals and restore magic back to the land!

An original Stage-Play exploring fantasy, mystery and comedy, ‘The Curious Case of the Crown Jewels’ was written over the course of the 2023/24 academic year by a group of 22 non-native English Montessori students aged 6-11. It included moral messages related to teamwork, honesty and helping others in need.
