The Mystery of the Monster

‘The Mystery of the Monster’ is a Stage-Play created by 5 children in their 1st and 4th year of Primary School.

Two Detectives are called to investigate strange noises and flashing lights coming from an abandoned library. Three boys decide they would like to investigate for themselves because they are curious and they enjoy going on adventures together. When the boys arrive to the dark, abandoned library, they discover more than they first anticipated: locked doors, a strange machine and even a monster! The boys decide to work together as a team to try to and understand what has been happening at the library, and to work alongside the detectives to try and solve The Mystery of the Monster…

An original Stage-Play inspired by Scooby-Doo and exploring suspense and action, ‘The Mystery of the Monster’ was written over the course of the 2023/24 academic year by a group of 5 non-native English Colegio Madrid students aged 6-9. It included moral messages related to teamwork, bravery and making an effort.
